A parent holding an infant, representing nurturing connection and early childhood support.

Parenting doesn’t come with a manual , but it does come with skills. And you don’t have to learn them alone.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure what to try next… you’re in the right place.

I help parents build the skills, confidence, and clarity needed to raise emotionally aware, connected, resilient children — without yelling, power struggles, or constant battles.

My work blends early childhood development, Positive Discipline, emotional regulation, and the AND approach:
feelings AND skills, compassion AND boundaries, connection AND cooperation.

Together, we make sense of what your child is communicating and build practical tools that actually work in daily life.

Who I Work With

I support parents who want to:

  • understand their child’s behavior

  • build emotional regulation (for themselves and their child)

  • reduce power struggles and meltdowns

  • create more peace and cooperation at home

  • build predictable routines that support regulation

  • learn Positive Discipline tools

  • strengthen communication

  • raise confident, problem-solving children

  • feel more grounded and less reactive

  • receive support tailored uniquely to their family structure

You don’t need to be struggling to benefit — many parents come simply to grow their skills and get support in the hard moments.

What Working Together Looks Like

Every family is different, so every coaching plan is customized.
But in general, our work includes:

1. Understanding Your Child

We break down:

  • development

  • behavior as communication

  • sensory needs

  • emotional needs

  • what’s realistic and age-appropriate

2. Strengthening Connection

Kids do better when they feel better.
We build the foundation for cooperation, trust, and communication.

3. Teaching Emotional Regulation

You’ll learn tools to help your child:

  • handle big feelings

  • build resilience

  • calm their body

  • problem-solve

  • communicate their needs

And you’ll learn the tools to stay regulated yourself.

4. Creating Predictable Routines & Boundaries

We build rhythms that support safety, independence, and easier transitions.

5. Building Your Parenting Leadership

Grounded in the leadership principles Brené Brown writes about, we work on:

  • courage over comfort

  • psychological safety at home

  • owning impact

  • modeling calm and confidence

  • leading with clarity

6. Applying the AND Approach

Every session integrates:

  • compassion AND boundaries

  • feelings AND skills

  • connection AND cooperation

  • warmth AND firmness

This is the middle ground where real change happens.

My Services

Below are the primary ways we can work together. (All coaching services are available nationwide.)

Individual Parent Coaching (1:1 Support)

One-on-one Parent Coaching sessions are designed just for you.
We meet virtually, typically in a 6- or 12-week program, to support you in becoming the parent you want to be in a compassionate, judgment-free space.

Together, we will:

  • understand what your child’s behavior is communicating

  • build tools for emotional regulation (for you and your child)

  • strengthen connection and cooperation

  • create predictable routines and boundaries

  • problem-solve daily challenges

  • develop a clear, step-by-step action plan

  • grow your leadership, confidence, and clarity as a parent

This individualized work happens in real time as we tailor strategies to your family’s needs using the AND Approach:
feelings AND skills, compassion AND boundaries, connection AND cooperation.

Small Group Parent Coaching (Learn & Grow Together)

These 4- or 6-week programs offer a supportive space to:

  • learn Positive Discipline tools

  • understand child development

  • problem solve real situations together

  • build confidence and clarity

  • feel less alone and more supported

Small groups run throughout the year both in-person and via Zoom.

what is parent coaching?

Parent coaching supports you in understanding your child’s development, behavior, emotions, and needs so you can parent with more clarity, confidence, and connection. It blends education, skill-building, emotional support, and real-life tools that work in daily routines.

This work is not therapy — it is guidance, learning, and leadership development for parents.

Through parent coaching, you will:

  • understand what your child’s behavior is communicating

  • learn how to respond instead of react

  • build emotional regulation tools (for you and your child)

  • strengthen connection and cooperation

  • set boundaries with compassion

  • create predictable routines and expectations

  • develop confidence in your parenting leadership

  • feel supported, empowered, and less alone

Parent coaching helps you raise children who feel secure, capable, and understood — while helping you feel grounded and supported as a parent.
